He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Tant (Dalton) of Bailey, NC and Austin Morris of Bailey, NC; his granddaughter Savannah Rae Tant of Bailey; his sisters, Merry Askew (Danny) of Macclesfield, Sheila Morris of Macclesfield and Emily Morris (Gary) of Macclesfield; his nieces, Marina Lovitt, Leslie Morris, Brittany Askew, Angela Askew, Chyann Harris and Tiffany Morris; his nephew T. J. Lovitt; his close friend Tammy Holliday; and also Lyla Mae Jones of Bailey. He is also survived by cousins, extended family members and close friends.
