It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter O'Neal Jr. (Tarboro, North Carolina), who passed away on October 5, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Norris O'Neal and Walter Hardy O'Neal, Sr.; and his niece Jennifer Elizabeth Hill. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Briley O'Neal; his daughters, Melissa O'Neal (Craig Godwin) and Krista O'Neal Rourk; his grandchildren, Briley, Karoline, Kendall Rourk, Anna and Ava Godwin; his sister Susan O'Neal Hill (John); and his nephew Brad Hill (Summer).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Walter's honor to Dawson Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 9775 13 Bridges Road, Enfield, NC 27823 or his favorite charity, St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
