She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Mayo Cherry and Ruth Dunn Cherry. She is survived by: her husband George Melton Williams; her daughter Robin Williams Braswell; her son-in-law Gary; her sister Jane Cherry Jernigan; her brother-in-law Jimmie; and her pet Sully.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carlisle Funeral Home (701 Hospital Dr, Tarboro, NC 27886). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
