It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernice Lyons of Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Richard Lyons Chesapeake (Gwendolyn) and Fernando Lyons (Shevelle) of Harrisburg, PA.; and her siblings, Edward Bernard Lyons, Samuel Lyons, Leroy Lyons of Tarboro, Charles Ronald Lyons (JoAnn), Richard Lyons Clinton Md (Estelle), Clara Mae Cherry and Carolyn.
