It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Johnson of Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty LaRuth Nunnery Johnson; his parents, Hattie Berline and Thomas C. Johnson; and his grandchildren, Sharon D. Rawls and Kasey C. Andrews.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betty L. Sullivan (Kelvin), Tammy J. Andrews, Angela Armstrong (Henry) and Denise Hobbs (Dennis); his grandchildren, Amanda Andrews (Allen), Ashley Hall (Marshall), Nicholas Andrews, Catherine Armstrong, Chelsea Steadman (Blake), Amy Hobbs and Ben Rawls; his great grandchildren, Mason, Kasen, Gracen, Estela, Lily and Chloe; and his friend Mildred Aycock.
