She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernell and Forrest Armstrong, Sr.; her siblings, Lucy Rose Taylor (Sandy), Forrest Armstrong Jr. (Beulah) and Ernest Armstrong; and her aunts, Willie Lewis and Mary Carlisle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
