As Shirley departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shirley. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her husband Joe L. Anderson; and her children, Charlie Lewis Battle of Princeville, NC and Lynwood Earl Battle (Debbie).
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Temple Church (709 E Wilson St, Tarboro, NC 27886). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
