He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Sutton, Sr. and Edith McDaniel. He is survived by: his children, Samuel Sutton, III of Kingston, PA, James Pitt of Rocky Mount, NC, Johnathan M. Sutton of Rocky Mount, NC, Kenneth Ray Davis of Whitakers, NC, Marvin M. Davis of Woodbridge, VA, William D. Sutton of Vanceboro, NC, Jacqueline W. Owens of Virginia Beach, VA, Rochelle D. Hackney of Durham, NC, Joyce Davis of Raleigh, NC and Shauna Martinez of Raleigh, NC; and his siblings, Glen Sutton of Whitakers, NC, Minnie Ruth Bell of Washington, DC, Alma Dean Williams of Whitakers, NC, Jean Edmondson of Enfield, NC and Helen Pridgen of Whitsett, NC. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Due to Covid-19, we are asking everyone that is planning to attend these services or visiting Hemby-Willoughby Funeral Homes, it is mandatory that you wear a mask and perform social distancing.
