He was predeceased by: his parent Helene Rogers Haddock; and his sisters, Peggy Jones and Jean King. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Rogers; his daughters, Wendy (Bob Cox) of Tarboro and Cindy (Kenny Whichard) of Roanoke Rapids; his granddaughter Laura (Justin Nelms) of Roanoke Rapids; his daughters, Megan (Kenneth Bishop) of Roanoke Rapids, Robbie (Skylar Cox) of Chesapeake, VA, Samantha (Brad Godsey) of Roanoke Rapids and Mary (Sean Conerly) of Raleigh, NC; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Hardin (Bishop), Michael Bishop, Camdyn Nelms, Rory Godsey, Trey Cox and Navi Kate Cox; and his sister Nell Craft.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carlisle Funeral Home (701 Hospital Dr, Tarboro, NC 27886). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
