He is survived by: his wife Emily Bruce Thompson; and his sons, Devin Thompson (Cheryl Thompson), Alan Thompson and Johnny Denton (Judith Shrum). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
