He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Whitehead and Bessie Brown. He is survived by: his wife Mary Whitehead; his sons, Martavius Whitehead, Donnell Batts of Rocky Mount, NC and Martev Staton of Wilson, NC; and his siblings, James Whiteheads of Tarboro, NC, Leon Whitehead of Rocky Mount, NC and Marie Whitehead of Rocky Mount, NC. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
