He is survived by: his son Reggie Herring; and his siblings, Fred Morris (Lenoir), James Draughn (Erma), Dennis Morris (Susie), Rufus Morris, Larry Morris (Lidia), Antonio Morris, Willow Adkins, Gloria Outen, Maxine Higgs, Mattie Hunter, Zelda Seagraves, Barbara Paige, Minnie Baines (Raymond) and Barbara Page (Fredrick). He is also survived by 6 daughters.
