He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Harper and Bessie Harper; his brother Stan Harper (Jean Harper); and his former wife Judy Harper. He is survived by: his wife Jane Harper; his children, Janis Koonce (J. H. Koonce), Keith Harper (Dee Harper) and Lee Harper; his stepson Trey Gurley (Georgia Gurley); his granddaughter Sarah Koonce (Chase Beattie); his stepgrandchildren, David Gurley, Louise Gurley and Thomas Gurley; and his former wife Judith Everett.
