He is survived by: his daughter Sarah Hux (Tanner); his grandson Tanner Kendrick Hux, Jr. of Manns Harbor; his sister Kelly Anderson (George) of Tarboro; and his niece Anna Perkinson (Phillip) of Raleigh.
