She is survived by: her husband James "Allen" Whitehurst; her children, John "Stacey" Whitehurst (Jennifer), Mary Louise Taylor (Raymond) and Allen "Kyle" Whitehurst (Amy); her grandchildren, Richard Allen Shannon, Yasmine Elizabeth Shannon, Jewel Marie Shannon, Sebastian Tyler Diaz-Whitehurst, Lana Marie Whitehurst, Aliyah Noel Whitehurst, Addilee Gray Whitehurst, Landen Blake Whitehurst, Chevy Lane Taylor and Meghan Liz-Marie Taylor; her great grandchildren, Hallie June Wright, Kynsley Olivia Williams and Rayner Allen Shannon; her siblings, Ralph Scott Jr., Christopher Stuart Scott (Katherine), Michael Vincent Briley (Melissa), Dawn Briley Roberson (William), Crystal Nichols, Keith Owens and Kevin Scott (Tracy); and her stepmother Geraldine Scott. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
