He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Davis and Matthew Davis; and his brothers, George and Stuart. He is survived by: his wife Rena Coker Davis; his children, Zelphia Davis Pittman (Marty) of Tarboro and Matthew Thomas Davis (Tina) of Tarboro; and his grandchildren, Michael T Pittman, Austin R Pittman (Abby Williams), Jason Knox, Thomas Davis and Emma Davis. He is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, nieces & nephews.
