She was predeceased by: her parents, William Paul and Virginia Mae Dennie; her husband Charles Roger Hale; her son Charles "Chuck" Hale; her grandson Charles Coker, Jr.; her great grandchild J. R. Bulluck, Jr.; and her siblings, Ida Whitaker, Mildred Walston, Dorothy Bluto, Amos, Paul, James and Bobby Dennie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Palmer, Teresa Patterson (Robert) of Cottageville, S. C. and Elizabeth Harris (Doug) of Tarboro, N. C; her daughter-in-law Kathy Hale of Tarboro; and her grandchildren, Crystal, Allen, Cynthia, Eddie, Julie, Dana, Nora Ann, Bryan and Robert. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
