She was predeceased by: her father Forest Knight. She is survived by: her mother Ruby Whitaker; her children, Travis Whitaker, Eureka Smith and Sheureka Smith; and her brothers, Donald Whitaker of Rocky Mount, NC, Calvin Whitaker of Rocky Mount, NC and Lonnie Whitaker of Tarboro, NC. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
