He was predeceased by: his mother Jean Campbell Howerin; and his nephew Emmanuel Peter Howerin. He is survived by: his father William Lee "Bill" Howerin; his brother William Lee Howerin, Jr.; his sister-in-law Karen Hively-Howerin; and his nieces, Jessa Jean and Michaela Dawn Howerin.
His most recent passion was reclaiming and restoring old bicycles and donating them to youth in need.
