He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Johnson, Sr. and Addie Thomas Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Luther Johnson of Raleigh, NC, Tracey Cherry of Durham, NC, Marvin Johnson of Greensboro, NC, Tevin Dozier of Tarboro, NC, Valarie Johnson of Hight Point, NC and Iris Johnson Richmond of Winder, GA; and his siblings, Milton Johnson, Sr. of Tarboro, NC, Margaret Ruffin of Tarboro, NC, Irene Johnson of Tarboro, NC, Mary Brevard of Tarboro, NC and Addie Johnson of Rocky Mount, NC. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
