He is survived by: his wife Ida Ruth Chance; his daughter Michele Lee Chance of Long Island, NY; his sisters, Minnie Whitehead of Rocky Mount, NC, Elnora Chance of Rocky Mount, NC, Delnora Johnson of Pinetops, NC, Sally Chance of Tarboro, NC, Carolyn McFarlin of Tarboro, NC, Glorastine Anderson of Greenville, NC and Sylvia Powell of Queens, NY; his stepsister Cozetta Gray of Tarboro, NC; and his brothers, James, Michael Chance, Ronald Chance, Dennis Chance and Kenneth Chance of Clayton, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
