It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melodie Carol Clements of Tarboro, North Carolina, born in Fairbanks, Alaska, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Owens and Joy Norton Owens; and her grandparents, Clyde and Martha Owens. She is survived by: her husband Kevin Clements; her children, Joey Manning (Jennifer Gardner) of Tarboro, Ashley Holmes (Jared) of Macclesfield, Bobby Wheeler (Kelly) of Port Charlotte, Florida and Ian Holtzman; her grandchildren, Noah, Alexis and Kaidence Holmes; her siblings, Heather Owens, Heidi Owens of Ohio, Kimberly Kempe of Wisconsin, Cindy Kempe and Mark Kempe; her stepmother Patricia Owens; her nephew Atticus Jarrett; and her nieces, Jessica Koenen, Jessie, Bailey and Kenzie Jarrett.
In lieu of flowers, toiletries and other necessities may be donated in memory of Melodie to the Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice Facility, 920 Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
