She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Badgett and Susan Key Badgett; her husband Roy W. McHone; her son Steven L. McHone of Tarboro; her daughter-in-law Joy Johnson McHone; her grandchildren, John Steven McHone (Jess) and Mary McHone Van Staalduinen (Ben); her great grandchildren, Judah McHone, Molly Van Staalduinen and John Van Staalduinen; and her friend Mary Spillman. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
