We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2022, at the age of 82, Mattie Johnson Berna Knight of Tarboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her son Rodney A. Knight (Barbara) of Tarboro; her granddaughter Andrea Knight of Greenville; and her siblings, Margaret J. Ruffin of Tarboro, Irene Johnson of Tarboro, Mary J. Brevard (Freddie) of Tarboro, Addie Mae Johnson, Milton Johnson (Unice) and Melvin Johnson of Raleigh. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
