With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin Vale Horton Jr. of Tarboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Vale Horton Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Smith, Don Horton and Shari Redhage. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Episcopal Church (411 E Church St, Tarboro, NC 27886).
