With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Elbert Ruffin of Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 16, 2022 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Nick Long. He is survived by: his close friend Margaret Johnson; his children, Taiwan Pettaway of Tarboro, NC, Nicky Ruffin of Greenville, NC and Verna Mae Jones of Princeville, NC; and his siblings, Dennis Ray Ruffin of Wilson, NC, Brenda Ruffin-Sherrod and Shelia Ruffin Black of Rocky Mount, NC. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
