He is survived by: his wife Glenda Best Pittman; his son Marty Travis Pittman (Zelphia Davis Pittman) of Tarboro; his grandsons, Michael Travis Pittman (Heather Johnson Pittman) of Middlesex and Austin Ryan Pittman (Abby Williams) of Tarboro; and his siblings, William Wayne Pittman of Goldsboro, Peggy Jackson and Margaret Wooten. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family has decided due to the Covid-19 Pandemic to have a Celebration of Marion's Life Memorial Service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donation to the National Alzheimer's Association.
