She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Lillian Ruth Gurkin Dixon; her husband Charles H. Fussell; her daughter Brenda Gail Fussell Joyner; and her sisters, Alice Faye Dixon Anderson and Doris Leggett Morgan.
She is survived by: her family, Wanda Fussell Jaquette and Lisa Lewis (Ken); her siblings, John Thomas Dixon, Jr. and Gloria Dixon Gravlin; her grandchildren, Harley Jaquette, Duston Overton, Kristian Lewis, Brad Lewis, Jessica Ellis and Nick Joyner; and her great grandchildren, Paisley, Tyler and Benjamin.
