We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2024, at the age of 76, Mamie Lee Sherrod (Tarboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mamie Lee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mamie Lee farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her sons, Russel Earl Sherrod of Rocky Mount and Curtis Lee Sherrod of Tarboro; her niece LaVerne Henderson (Raleigh); and her aunt Edna Brown.
