It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lynda Smith (Tarboro, North Carolina), who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Lewis and Ida Lewis; and her sisters, Dean Lee, Allene Lewis Braddy, Frances Weathersbee and Ethel Bryant.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald G. Smith; her children, Rena Pulley of Battleboro, Rhonda Gauthier (John) of Virginia, Joe Smith of Battleboro, Ronnie Smith, Jr. of Battleboro, Lynn Morris (Tony) of Rocky Mount, Wanda Robbins (Dennis) of Castalia and April Best (Dean) of Battleboro; and her brother Charlie Lewis (Miriam) of Tarboro. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Northern Blvd Baptist Church (502 E Northern Blvd, Tarboro, NC 27886). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
