She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy Black and Romaine Brown Jones. She is survived by: her children, Leroy Brown of Princeville, NC, Leon Wilkins of Greenville, NC, Alfonza Wilkins of Odenton, MD, John Wilkins of Concord, NC, Samuel Wilkins, Madeline Jones of Princeville, NC, Lavern Rogers and Ethel White of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren, fifty-five great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren with a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary, Inc. (1800 Western Blvd, Tarboro, NC 27886). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (201 Beasley St, Princeville, NC 27886).
