She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Jesse Shaw; her children, Debra Cone, Henry J. Shaw, Jr., Wanda Dunbar and Rodney Shaw; and her sister Brenda Miller.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Crystal Thorpe of Rocky Mount, Kristy Shaw (Buddy) of Greene County, Tonya Suarez (Raymond) of Virginia and Brooke Huntington (Richard) of Wendell; and her great grandchildren, Justin Wiggins, Jayden Thorpe, Raymond, Tyler Suarez, Gwynevere and Jamison Huntington.
