Lorenza Marlon Joyner Obituary

Age 67, transitioned from this earthly life into eternal rest on Monday, January 10, 2022. He was born July 8, 1954, in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, to the late William Joyner and Jamesena Hopkins Joyner.

He was a 1972 Graduate of Tarboro Senior High school and a graduate of Shaw University.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: wife; Sadie Joyner of the home, son; Marlon Joyner of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, stepson; George Ferebee of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, two brothers; Reverend Cornell Joyner of Tarboro, NC, Karl Joyner of Tarboro, NC, sister; Phyllis Joyner Willoughby of Tarboro, NC, aunt; Maggie Smith of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, uncle; Eddie Broadwater of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, eight grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Public Viewing on Friday, January 21, 2022, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Triumph Missionary Baptist Church in Philadelphia.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Triumph Missionary Baptist Church in Philadelphia. Burial will follow in the Chelten Hills Cemetery.
