We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2021, at the age of 92, Lillian Kirkland of Tarboro, North Carolina, born in New York, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Schwamberger and Minnetta Farley; her husband John; and her sisters, Ann Schwamberger, Viola Aycock and Carolyn House.
She is survived by: her children, John Kirkland, Walter L. Kirkland (Judy), George Kirkland (Tommi Gayle) and Ann Kirkland Coats; and her sisters, Dorothy Rogister, Evelyn Mitchell and Margie Belch. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great-granchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to any church or charity.
