We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2020, at the age of 85, Lawrence Spain of Tarboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis; his parents, Charles Jenkins Spain, Sr. and Jessie; and his siblings, Charles Jenkins Spain, Jr., Miles Spain, Russell Spain and Sara Ware.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sybil Sharpe and Leland Spain; his children, Lawrence Benjamin Spain, Jr. (Sharon) and Gail Bosch (George); and his grandchildren, Benjamin Morgan Spain (Lindsey) and Emily Deans (Strick). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Howard Memorial Presbyterian Church, Tarboro.
