He was predeceased by: his father Herman Lee Owens. He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Owens Allen (Jay); his mother Peggy Baggett; his siblings, Lee Owens (Gladys) of Tarboro, Gary Owens of Tarboro and Brenda Tucker (Eddie) of Pinetops; his son Mark Winstead (Bridgette) of Kenly; his cousin Joseph "JD" Owens of Tarboro; and his friends, Steve Speight of Tarboro and Steve McKinsey of Scotland Neck. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, car enthusiast friends and other extended relatives.
