She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John D. Edmondson and Lessie Walston Edmondson; her husband Thomas Lester Tolson, Jr.; her brothers, William Joseph and Rowland Thomas Edmondson; her children, Thomas A. Tolson (Kelly), John D. Tolson (Diane), CB Bunting III (Kaye), Joy T. Caroon and Janero B. Stokes (Ed); her grandchildren, Thomas K. Tolson (Grace), Bryan Caroon (Rebecca), Dylan Caroon (Kara), William Tolson (Tammi), Clarence Bunting, Katie Bunting, Amy Trunnell (Glenn), Lorrie Gold (Russ), Mary Weaver (Jim), Kristin Walker (Ben) and Matthew Blanchard; and her close friends, Hilda Williams, Jean Bunting and Mary Lou Clark. She was also cherished by 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pinetops Methodist Church (111 N 3rd St, Pinetops, NC 27864). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joyce's name to Pinetops Methodist Church, PO Box 13, Pinetops, NC 27864.
