He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Debbie" Turner; his children, Miranda Turner of Tarboro, Linda Marie Ferguson (Eric) of Bedford, VA and James "Tater" Shearin (Tarboro) of Greenville; and his siblings, Timmy Turner of Elm City, Jimmy Turner (Debbie) of Rocky Mount and Emma Jane Holder of Rocky Mount.
