He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Hines, Sr. and Bettie Suggs Hines. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Draughn Hines; his children, Reginald Draughn of Nashville, NC, Joseph Draughn III of Nashville, NC, Quaterious Draughn of Tarboro, NC, Carolyn Hines Just of Wilson, NC, Josephine Hines King of Tarboro, NC and Shamika Draughn of Tarboro, NC; and his siblings, Ray Hines of Tarboro, NC, Willie Hines of Tarboro, NC, Frank Hines of Conetoe, NC and Annie L. Jones of Pinetops, NC. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
