He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kirkland and Lillian Kirkland. He is survived by: his siblings, Walter Kirkland (Judy), George Kirkland (Tommi) and Ann Kirkland Coats. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
