It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Hall Pigg (Tarboro, North Carolina), who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hall and Viola Hall; her brother Jimmy Hall, Jr.; and her husband David. She is survived by: her sons, Ryan Davis Pigg (Desiree) and David Wayne Pigg, Jr. (Jordan); her sisters, Susan H. Woodruff and Amy H. Goode (Bill); and her granddaughter Emma Grey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Instead of flowers, potted plants are welcome, and it would please Joan if contributions were made to the new Edgecombe County Animal Shelter, c/o Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office, or to Tarboro T-N-R.
