He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Twiddy and Elaine Fields Twiddy. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Whitehurst Twiddy; his children, Christopher Twiddy (Renee), Durwood Pilgreen, Linda Pilgreen Wiggs (Jerry), Debbie Pike (Robert) and Sheryl Joyner; and his siblings, Steve Twiddy, Bruce Twiddy, Tim Twiddy and Janice Twiddy. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
