It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sherwood White (Tarboro, North Carolina), who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse White and Frances White; and his brother Willard. He is survived by: his wife Jean; and his sister Lola Dixon of Chocowinity.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Sherwood to Trinity Baptist Church in Tarboro, North Carolina.
