He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolft Vincent Jones and Helen Moore Jones; his brother Rolft Vincent Jones, Jr.; his parents-in-law, Lane and Emma Simpson; his siblings-in-law, Sally Rose Baker, Mary Jo Johnson and Simon Thomas Simpson; his nephew Lanie Simpson; and his great grandchild Unique Holland.
He is survived by: his wife Estelle Jone; and his children, James Harvey Jones, Jr. (Sandra) and Tammy Renee Owens (John, Sr.). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
