It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Benjamin McEachin of Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albennie McEachin and Mary Hatten Jones McEachin. He is survived by: his wife Annie McEachin; his children, Robert Jenkins-McEachin of San Diego, CA, Benjamin McEachin of Tarboro, NC, Keith Bottoms of Winterville, NC, James Carpenter of Wilson, NC, Janice McEachin of Tarboro and Jessica Carpenter of Collge Park, GA; and his siblings, Harold McEachin of Wilson, NC and Harriet McEachin Hines of Washington, DC. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
