It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Harrell of Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 5, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Exum M. "Ex" Harrell, Jr.; her sister Jeanette Thomas; and her grandson Trent Allen Harrell. She is survived by: her children, Exum M. "Chubby" Harrell, III (Christine) of Tarboro, Kirby J. Harrell (Amy) of Nashville, Christopher "Len" Harrell (Amy) of Macclesfield, Alexa Dean Varnadore (Tony) of Lawrence and Sharon Harrell Perkins (Frank) of Flowery Branch, GA; her sister Pat Williams (Dennis) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Exum "Squeak" M. Harrell IV, Dustin "Jay" Harrell, Tyler Len Harrell, Darrin Lee Harrell, Allie Brianna Perkins and Carson Frank Perkins; and her great grandchildren, Savannah Dail, Summer Harrell, Kennedy Harrell, Jax Harrell, Avery Harrell, Aiden Harrell, Madison Harrell, Ivy Grace Harrell, Julia Rose Harrell and Dakota Harrell.
