She is survived by: her children, Billy Ray Stephens, Howie Wandell Stephens, Christopher Lynn Stephens (Sheila) and Carolyn Stephens Forte (Johnnie); her sisters, Maggie Sanders, Ada Marie Sheppard of Rocky Mount and Deloris Thornton; and her grandchildren, Shanta Bass Fuquay (Alex), Jocelynnne Stephens Telfair (Ronzell), Jonathan Forte (Elizabeth), Ja Vonna Stephens and Ja Nisha R. Stephens of Tarboro.
A public viewing and visitation will be held on Saturday November 28, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Dickens Funeral Service, Inc. We will follow the covid - 19 guidelines in distancing and wearing of masks will be required for both services.
