He was predeceased by: his parents, Sumler Casper and Pattie Casper; and his siblings, Ella Ruth Casper, Almarie Matthews and Billy Casper.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Upchurch; his daughters, Terri Casper-Ramirez (Jose') of Beaufort and Nannette Casper Boyd (Eddie) of Scotland Neck; his sister Nell Casper Lawrence of Holly Springs; and his granddaughter Magen Boyd of Scotland Neck.
