She is survived by: her children, John W. Simms, Jr. (Martha), Bobby A. Simms (Mae), Helen M. Baker (Danny) and Debra S. Bailey; and her grandchildren, Melissa Simms (Terry), J. D. Simms (Elaine), Kristopher Simms (Lisa), Christina Proctor (David), Danny Baker, Jr. (Stacey), Amanda Calhoun (Josh) and Jennifer Pearson (Corey). She is also survived by 11 great- grandchildren.
