It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Nix Wilkins of Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Oliver William Atlanta (Angela), Joseph Nix Williamston (Sadie), Sandra Whitehead (Randolph), Therabelle Nix Macklin (Mack), Kathy Nix Little and Beatrice Nix; and her sisters, Ora Lee Pettit, Geraldine Batchelor (Pete) and Mary B. Cofield. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
